Hackathon Piaget 2025

in Collaboration with Women TechMakers

This 3rd edition of Hackathon Piaget is organized in collaboration with Google’s Women TechMakers (WTM) Switzerland chapter. This hackathon series is dedicated to innovations for teaching and learning, in the spirit of Jean Piaget, a pedagogical pioneer of the University of Geneva.

This hackathon is also part of the centennial celebration of the International Bureau of Education (IBE), which Piaget directed from its inception and for nearly 40 years. Today, the IBE is a UNESCO institute.

This hackathon is also the first Google Women Techmakers event organized in Geneva. It is coordinated by the WTM youth ambassador for Geneva, Eisha Tir Raazia. Challenge topics will include women and gender issues (SDG 5), as they pertain to education.

Hackathon Piaget runs all day on Saturday 5 April. A challenge pitching session is planned a week before on Friday 28 March from 18:00-20:00. Both events take place at University of Geneva’s SDG Solution Space, a student innovation hub in the heart of International Geneva.

Registrations are now live on the Hackathon Piaget Sparkboard.
